Scholarships

We have scholarships available for the academic year 2025/2026

Our scholarship scheme offers an opportunity for outstanding students within the UK, with limited means, to apply to Brampton College and receive financial assistance.

This reflects an aim to open our doors to the wider community and offer more UK students the opportunity to study at London’s top Independent Sixth Form College. Successful applicants will benefit from our fantastic teaching, small class sizes and our focus on individual support and guidance.

I am beyond grateful to all the staff at Brampton for their continuous support. Throughout my three years at the college, staff constantly went above and beyond to enable me to reach my potential, achieve the highest possible grades, an5d fulfil my dream of studying at Oxbridge.” Eliana, former Brampton scholarship student studying PPE at the University of Oxford6

Who can apply?

Applicants must be from the UK and should be expecting a minimum of 5 grade 8 or 9’s in their GCSEs, with the remainder grade 7 or above.

What’s the application process?

As a first step please complete the Scholarship Form and return to Pam Glenville, Admissions Secretary, together with a current school report and predicted GCSE grades. We will then write to your school for a reference and predicted grades.

If you are selected for interview, the Bursar will contact you and ask you to complete a detailed ‘Statement of Financial Circumstances’ which will need to be submitted together with supporting evidence.

How are the scholarships awarded?

Scholarships will be awarded for the two year A level course to students who are expected to achieve outstanding grades at GCSE. These students will need to demonstrate real enthusiasm for learning and a commitment to making a positive contribution to college life.

What are the financial contributions?

The scholarships are means tested and will offer a reduction of between 5% and 80%, dependent on total family income and resources. This will leave an amount payable of between 20% and 95% of the fees (which are £24,425 for 2023/24).

When do I need to apply?

There are a limited number of scholarships available so an early application in year 11 is encouraged.
