Brampton College offers exceptional levels of expertise in the teaching of GCSE and A level subjects. The average class size is seven, with a maximum of nine. This allows teachers to focus attention on each individual student so a trusting and comfortable relationship with them is formed and they receive the support they deserve.
Our teachers are enthusiastic and dedicated sixth form specialists, all university educated with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in their fields. They are positive and passionate about their subjects, an attitude that is passed onto the students, resulting in a happy and optimistic learning environment. This is reflected in our continually outstanding exam results.
Many of the teachers have experience of examining, they are very well-practised in the examination process. This means that they are extremely proficient in the most recent developments in their subjects at A level and GCSE, and in the skills required to get the best out of students. They are able to successfully prepare their students, using authoritative materials, regular homework, weekly or fortnightly tests and detailed feedback, so that they can enter the exam room with the utmost confidence.
Our staff are also highly experienced pastoral supervisors, meaning that they can support the students on a personal level as well as academically, such as coping with the challenges of an A level programme or university application, which is an important part of the second year.
I would highly recommend Brampton College. It pushed me to achieve the highest possible grades. I would like to thank them for being so motivating, inspiring and accommodating, giving up their time whenever I needed any help.
