Yoav Raize achieved exceptional results a few weeks ago and tells us how this was down to the support that he was given from the teachers.
“I achieved A*A*A* in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Economics and an A in Computer Science and I’m planning on studying Economics after a gap year. These results aren’t totally unexpected just because of the level of support I’ve been given over the past two years – support I would never have received at any other schools.
I moved to Brampton College to study A levels, having done my GCSEs at another school. My brother came here and was very successful so I felt it would be a really good decision to follow in his footsteps. I was very nervous on my first day, not knowing any other students, but those feelings were quickly dispersed. It’s a really welcoming, informal school which helped me settle in very quickly. I’ve become friends with some of the best friends I’ve ever made.
The standard of teaching here is just amazing. Teachers really want you to succeed, and they have an incredible dedication to help you achieve your goals. I couldn’t have done it without them. I’ve become a lot more confident both academically and socially. I feel like I can go on to university totally ready for new challenges.”
