Victoria Caplin, student, who achieved A*A*A* and a place at the University of Birmingham to read Biomedical Science, tells us why she’s thankful to Brampton….
I moved to Brampton as I felt I was underachieving at my previous school despite lots of outside tutorial support and I was keen to get the best results I could. I really enjoyed the academic environment of Brampton, the structured lessons with regular assessment and the excellent teachers and tutorials. The weekly tests prepared me to be calm during exam seasons and encouraged me to work hard and be conscientious.
I felt that if I didn’t understand something I could always go to teachers for additional help and support which reassured me whenever I had doubts. The teachers have been so supportive and inspiring, they have really ignited my love for my subjects through their brilliant teaching.
I am so grateful for moving to Brampton as I know I have made life long friends. The students are all so welcoming, friendly and always want the best for each other. This environment helps build each other up for great success. Brampton has also been a great stepping stone in preparation for university. It is thanks to Brampton’s support and constant encouragement that I received such great A level results.
